Peter has always had a connection to the land and farmers in general. He fully understands the stresses of life in rural Australia and sees Farmers Markets as a way of creating another income stream for many rural families and communities. Peter lives in Meeniyan, South Gippsland and RFM is based here in the lush green hills of that region. His passion is to reconnect growers to consumers and to enliven rural and regional communities through their love of good food and wine. To assist people to put energy back into the food they eat and respect the people who spend so much of their time growing the food that is often taken for granted. |

Simone Gordon, the market manager at the
Daylesford market. |
Simone Gordon is a very accomplished event organizer. She has organized the Chocolate Rush festival in Melbourne for the past 3 years. She is in constant demand for her organizing abilities and has a reputation in the events industry and is a great person to work with and she gets things done! She lives in Redesdale and was as a driving force in organizing relief for those affected by the February fires last year. These fires luckily only singed her eyebrows. She has managed the Daylesford market for the past 3 years and hopefully for a lot longer! She has created a very vibrant market in Daylesford and she is much loved by both stallholders and market visitors alike. She also has a wicked sense of humour! If you meet her be on your guard!
